# Save & Share Reports from Explore

{% hint style="info" %}
**Quick Answer:** Click the bookmark icon (**Save to report**) on any Explore chart or table, pick an existing report or create a new one, and click **Save**. The report appears on your Reports page, where you can share it with your whole company. Saving a card takes under a minute.
{% endhint %}

## Scratchpads vs. Reports

* **Scratchpads** are private drafts in Explore, saved in your browser on this device
* **Reports** are permanent, saved in Moselle, and can be shared with your team

Saving a card to a report is how work moves from draft to keeper.

{% hint style="info" %}
You'll see the word **Dashboard** on some buttons — for example, **Open Dashboard** on the Reports page. A saved report and its dashboard view are the same thing: the report is opened as a dashboard of cards.
{% endhint %}

## Save a Card to a Report

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Click Save to Report

On any chart or table in Explore, click the **bookmark** icon (**Save to report**).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Choose a Report

In the **Save to report** dialog:

1. Pick an existing report from the **Report** dropdown — reports shared with your company are marked "(shared)"
2. Or select **+ Create new report…** and enter a name, e.g. "Weekly Trading Review"
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Name the Card and Save

1. Confirm or edit the **Card title** (required)
2. Add a **Description** if helpful (optional)
3. Click **Save**

{% hint style="success" %}
Success! A "Saved to \[report name]" confirmation appears with an **Open** link. The report is now listed on your Reports page with a **Custom** badge.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Working with a Saved Report

Open a report from the Reports page (click **Open Dashboard** on its card). Charts display in a two-column grid; tables display full width.

**Card actions** (if you have edit access):

| Action                        | What it does                                                   |
| ----------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Move up** / **Move down** | Reorder cards |
| **Edit card** (pencil) | Reopen the card in Explore to change it with Mo |
| **Delete card** | Remove the card from the report |
| **Download CSV** (tables) | Export the table's data |
| **Incorporate Into Forecast** | Send the card's findings to Mo for demand planning — see below |

**Report actions** (from the report header and its **…** menu):

* **Download report** — export the whole report
* **Settings** — rename and manage the report
* **Share with company** / **Make private** — control who can see it
* **Duplicate** — copy the report
* **Delete dashboard** — remove the report entirely

Reports are private to you until you share them. Teammates viewing a shared report see it read-only and can use **Duplicate to edit** to make their own editable copy.

## Edit a Saved Card

1. Open the report and click the **pencil** icon on the card
2. Explore opens in edit mode with an "Editing \[card] in \[report]" banner
3. Ask Mo for the changes you want
4. Click **Save** to update the card — or **Cancel** to leave it unchanged

Nothing changes on the report until you click **Save**.

## Incorporate a Report's Findings Into a Forecast

Any card on a report can feed your demand planning:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Click Incorporate Into Forecast

On the report card, click **Incorporate Into Forecast** (sparkles icon).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Pick a Forecast

Choose a forecast from the dropdown — your default forecast is tagged **Master** — or select **No specific forecast** for a general conversation.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Click Update Forecast

Mo opens, reads the data behind the card, summarizes the key findings, and proposes a plan for factoring them into your forecast. You stay in control — review Mo's plan and apply what makes sense.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Incorporate Into Forecast** never changes your forecast on its own — it starts a conversation with Mo where you review and approve any adjustments.
{% endhint %}

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Who can see my reports?

**Answer:** Only you, until you choose **Share with company** from the report's menu. Shared reports are visible to everyone in your Moselle account.

### Can a teammate edit my shared report?

**Answer:** Shared reports are read-only for others. Teammates can select **Duplicate to edit** to work on their own copy.

### Do saved report cards stay up to date?

**Answer:** Yes — cards pull live data each time the report is opened, so a report you saved last month shows current numbers today.

### I saved a card — where did it go?

**Answer:** Open the Reports page from the sidebar and look for your report among the **Custom** cards. Click **Open Dashboard** to view it.
