What you'll need

• The password token Moselle provides during onboarding

Moselle's team will send you the .QWC file and password token directly. Keep the password token handy — you'll paste it into the Web Connector during setup.

Set it up

Install the QuickBooks Web Connector

1. Download the Web Connector installer.

2. Extract all files from the installer .zip folder.

3. Open the extracted folder and find QBWebConnectorInstaller.exe.

4. Right-click the file and choose Run as administrator to install it.

The Web Connector is the program you'll use to connect QuickBooks Enterprise to Moselle.

Open QuickBooks and the Web Connector

Before connecting, make sure all three are open on the same machine:

• The QuickBooks Web Connector

• QuickBooks Enterprise

• The company file you want to sync with Moselle

Add the Moselle application

In the QuickBooks Web Connector window, click Add an Application and select the .QWC file Moselle provided. Click Open.

When the Authorize New Web Service window appears, confirm the application name is Moselle, then click OK.

Enter your password token

Back in the Web Connector window, the Moselle application now appears in the list.

1. Select the leftmost checkbox next to the application to save the password.

2. In the Password field, paste the password token Moselle provided.

Start the sync

Select the checkbox again, then click Update Selected to begin syncing your QuickBooks data with Moselle.

Connected. Moselle will validate the connection and begin importing your data. The initial sync may take some time depending on your history.

Set a sync schedule (recommended)

Check the Auto-Run box to sync automatically on a schedule. For example, set 60 minutes to have Moselle sync with QuickBooks every hour.

Prefer manual control? Leave Auto-Run off and click Update Selected whenever you want to run a sync.

Keep the QuickBooks Web Connector open for syncing to run. If the Web Connector is closed, Moselle cannot sync with QuickBooks Enterprise.

Why does QuickBooks Enterprise need the Web Connector?

QuickBooks Enterprise is desktop software, not a cloud platform. The Web Connector is Intuit's official tool for securely connecting desktop QuickBooks to outside applications like Moselle.

Does the sync run if my computer is off?

No. Because QuickBooks Enterprise and the Web Connector run on your machine, both QuickBooks and the Web Connector must be open for a sync to run. Use Auto-Run to schedule syncs while they're open.

How often does it sync?

You choose. With Auto-Run enabled, you set the interval (e.g., every 60 minutes). Without it, you sync manually with Update Selected.

Where do I get the .QWC file and password?

Moselle's onboarding team provides both. If you don't have them yet, contact [e-mail].
