Schedule Work with Mo

Quick Answer: Open the menu on the Mo chat page and select Scheduled work, or click the schedule icon on any message you've sent Mo. Give it a name, write (or reuse) the prompt, choose how often it repeats, and save. Mo runs it on that schedule and emails you the result — takes under a minute to set up.

What Is Scheduled Work in Mo?

Scheduled work is a way to have Mo run one of your prompts automatically on a repeating cadence, instead of asking it fresh every time. Mo emails you the answer when it finishes, along with any files it produced — a workbook, a chart, an export — as download links.

It's built for the questions you'd otherwise have to remember to ask: a Monday morning stockout check, a weekly sell-through summary, a recurring reconciliation. Set it up once, and Mo keeps answering it on its own.

Key Benefits

  • No login required — the answer lands in your inbox on schedule

  • Reuses your own prompts — write once, exactly as you'd ask Mo directly

  • Files included — any workbook, chart, or export Mo generates is attached as a download link

  • Runs on your terms — pause a schedule any time without losing its setup, or trigger it on demand

Example Prompts to Schedule

Not sure what to schedule? Here are a few common use cases:

Cross-warehouse stockout alerts If your online store fulfills primarily from one warehouse but falls back to a secondary location for select items, it's easy to miss the moment the primary location sells out and a transfer is needed. Schedule Mo to check regularly:

Explore automatic low-stock transfer alerts for non-uniform item splits across warehouses

Monday stockout check Summarise which SKUs are at risk of stocking out in the next 30 days

Weekly sell-through summary Give me sell-through rate by category for the past 7 days, compared to the prior week

Recurring PO reconciliation List any purchase orders that were expected to arrive this week but haven't been marked received

Start with a prompt you already ask Mo regularly — if you find yourself typing the same question every Monday, that's a good candidate to schedule.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

How to Schedule a Prompt

1

Open the Schedule dialog

From the Mo chat page, open the menu in the chat header and select Scheduled work, then Schedule this work. You can also click the schedule icon on any message you've already sent Mo — this opens the same dialog with that message's text pre-filled as the prompt.

2

Name it and write the prompt

Fill in:

  • Name — a short label so you can recognize it later, e.g. Monday stockout check

  • What should Mo do? — the prompt Mo will run each time, e.g. Summarise which SKUs are at risk of stocking out in the next 30 days

  • An optional starting document, if the prompt needs a file to work from

3

Set the cadence

Choose how often it repeats under Repeats:

  • Every day

  • Weekdays

  • Weekly — pick the day of the week under On

Then set the time of day under At. Runs use your company's master timezone (set in Settings → Company).

4

Save

Click Schedule. You'll see a confirmation that Mo will run it and email you the result, and it appears in your Scheduled work list.

Managing Your Scheduled Work

Open Scheduled work from the same menu to see everything you've set up. Each entry shows its name, cadence, and when it last ran, plus:

  • Run now — trigger an immediate run without waiting for the next scheduled time

  • Pause / Resume — pause a schedule to stop it running without deleting its setup, and resume it later

  • Expand an entry to see its recent runs — up to the last three, each with a status, timestamp, and (once it's finished) a link to continue that conversation in Mo

Frequently Asked Questions

How many prompts can I schedule?

Answer: Up to 5 scheduled items per user. If you're at the limit and need another, pause or free up one of your existing schedules first.

What does the email look like?

Answer: Mo writes the subject and summary based on what that specific run actually found, rather than reusing a fixed template. Any files Mo generates — workbooks, charts, exports — are included as download links.

Answer: Yes. Links to files from a scheduled run are available for 7 days after the run completes. Continue the conversation in Mo directly if you need the underlying data after that.

Can I schedule a prompt for someone else on my team?

Answer: No — a scheduled prompt runs and emails the person who created it. Each teammate sets up their own scheduled work from their own Mo chat.
