Share & Manage Dashboards

Quick Answer: Open a saved dashboard, click the (more actions) button in the header, and choose Settings. From the Dashboard Settings dialog you can rename the dashboard, edit its description, toggle Share with company so teammates can view it, and transfer ownership to another team member. Only the owner can edit a dashboard.

What You Can Manage on a Dashboard

Once you've saved a dashboard, its Settings dialog is where you control how it's named, who can see it, and who can change it. This keeps team dashboards organized and makes it easy to hand one off when responsibilities shift.

From Dashboard Settings you can:

  • Rename the dashboard and update its description

  • Share it with your company so other members can view it

  • Transfer ownership to another teammate — which also hands off edit rights

Who can edit? A dashboard has a single owner, and only the owner can edit it. Sharing a dashboard lets others view it; transferring ownership is how you let someone else edit it.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

How to Open Dashboard Settings

1

Open the dashboard

Open the saved dashboard you want to manage.

2

Open the actions menu

Click the (more actions) button in the dashboard header. Settings is the first item in the menu, above Share, Duplicate, and Delete.

3

Update your settings

The Dashboard Settings dialog opens with fields for Name, Description, Share with company, and Owner. Make your changes, then click Save Changes.

Rename or Describe a Dashboard

In the Dashboard Settings dialog:

  1. Update the Name field (a clear name helps teammates find it)

  2. Add or edit the Description to explain what the dashboard is for

  3. Click Save Changes

Share a Dashboard with Your Company

Turn on the Share with company toggle to make the dashboard viewable by everyone in your workspace. When sharing is on, other members can view the dashboard but cannot edit it — editing stays with the owner.

To keep a dashboard private to yourself, leave the toggle off.

Transfer Dashboard Ownership

Transferring ownership is how you hand a dashboard — and its edit rights — to another person, for example when someone changes roles or leaves the team.

  1. Open Dashboard Settings

  2. Open the Owner dropdown and select the teammate who should own the dashboard

  3. Click Save Changes

The selected teammate becomes the owner and gains edit rights; you keep view access if the dashboard is shared with your company.

Note: You can only transfer ownership to another member of your company. Once you transfer ownership, you'll no longer be able to edit the dashboard yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can edit a shared dashboard?

Answer: Only the dashboard's owner can edit it. Sharing with your company grants view access to everyone in the workspace, but editing rights stay with the owner until ownership is transferred.

What happens when I transfer ownership?

Answer: The teammate you select becomes the new owner and can edit the dashboard. You lose edit access, but you'll still be able to view the dashboard as long as it's shared with your company.

Can I make a dashboard private again after sharing it?

Answer: Yes. Open Dashboard Settings and turn off the Share with company toggle. The dashboard becomes visible only to its owner again.

Where do I find my saved dashboards?

Answer: Saved dashboards live in your Reports area. For building a dashboard from scratch with Mo, see the custom dashboards guide below.
