Forecast Settings
Under the forecast settings, you can update the Forecast Name and the Timeframe of the forecast. In this option, you can also set a forecast to Master where it will make the current forecast as your primary plan for tracking progress, issue alerts, and team guidance. This will also be reflected on your main dashboard.
There are two options to modify a forecast:
Adjust Revenue Targets: Update your gross revenue targets and regenerate your forecast accordingly
Change Forecast Method: Update and switch between different forecasting model or logic
Upload & Replace
The Upload & Replace option will allow you to upload your own forecast and replace any existing projections.
Export a copy of the forecast you want to replace
Receive the exported copy from your email
Use the exported forecast as a template, and update your projections accordingly
Once finished, select the Gear Icon again choose the Upload & Replace option to upload the updated file. Drag and drop your file into the box upload, and click on the Upload button. Your uploaded forecast will now overwrite any existing projections in that same forecast.
When exporting and uploading a forecast, you must use that same template for the forecast you uploaded from. Each exported forecast plan will carry specific scenario ID's which are tied to the forecast you exported from.
Duplicate
Selecting this option will allow you to duplicate your existing forecast and its projections to another scenario plan.
Exporting and Download
When selecting to export your scenario plan, a CSV file will be sent to your email to download. Under the Gear Icon, select the Export and Download option to download a copy of you forecast. This will send over a CSV file to your email.
Once you download the exported forecast, it will display all your items across your channels, along with the number of months you've included for forecasting.ο»Ώ
