On the Dashboard, click on the Catalog feature and select the Products tab. On the right hand side, you can click on the Import button to begin importing your items.
Click on the import button and start by clicking on the Generate a Sample CSV selection. This will allow you to download a sample template with your existing metadata on your Moselle account. You can add new items to the template and include any additional metadata fields to your item.
For a successful import of items, please ensure you include both an SKU and a Name.
Once you have included a name, a SKU, and any additional metadata fields in your template. Save the file as a CSV file and drop it in the Drag and Drop section of the import feature.
Click on Upload and a confirmation window will display how many items you would want to import into Moselle. Complete the import by clicking on the Import Products button.
If you wish to overwrite existing items in Moselle with updated metadata fields, ensure you select the "Overwrite Products with Matching SKUs" box before clicking the "Upload" button. The system will prompt you to confirm that you want to overwrite the following items with the same SKU, including the new metadata fields. Click on the Import Products button to complete the upload, and refresh the catalog page to view your newly added items.
All attribute data needs to be included in the upload file for items to be overwritten. Missing attributes will result in items being overwritten as null.
