Select the Planning feature on the Moselle menu to be redirected to your Scenario Plans.
Your active scenario plans will be displayed as forecast files which you can select and choose to view. Each forecast file will have the following:
A name for the scenario plan.
The author who created the plan.
A forecast range.
A date for when the plan was created.
A timestamp of when it was last updated.
To select a forecast file, click on the scenario plan name in the forecast file to direct you to that file's planning page.
Click on the Create Scenario Plan button to start a new scenario plan. On the planning page, there are three tabs that you can navigate; Forecast, Replenishment, and Data Uploads. Each tab will help you formulate your forecast.
On the Forecast tab, you can choose a Date Range on the drop-down menu that will update your SKU table. You can choose a range that goes back in time to view recorded historicals and a future range to see your planned months.
The Planning Mode dropdown menu allows you to change how you view your SKU table in units or core units. Select the dropdown to update your table for your preference.
The AI Forecast dropdown menu will display the different types of AI Models that the Moselle system uses. Selecting any of these forecasts will prefill the table and its future planned months.
The Actions button adds a few options that allow users to:
Edit scenario plan name.
Archive a scenario plan.
Promote your scenario plan to default
Apply AI projections
Editing Scenario Plan
Clicking the edit dropdown selection will let you overwrite your scenario plan name. Once you update your scenario plan name, the forecast file's timestamp will update when it was last updated.
Archiving A Scenario Plan
When selecting the archive dropdown selection, your scenario plan will be moved into the archive section. This will make it hidden from all of your active scenario plans.
We store your archived scenario plans if you want to view them again. If you wish to view or revive a plan, ask our support team for assistance at support@moselle.io
Promoting a Scenario Plan
When you promote a plan, you lock that scenario plan in as the Default Plan on your forecast outlook chart on your home dashboard. You can use this function to quickly compare how your forecast is performing against Moselle's forecast, last year's sales, and current year's sales.
Once promoting a scenario plan, a green default icon will appear on your forecast card on your scenario plan selection.
Applying AI Projections
When applying AI projections, you stamp the chosen projections as your forecast in the scenario plan SKU table. This will let you save and keep a copy of your scenario plans using Moselle's AI projections.
Choosing to apply AI Projections will overwrite all existing projections in that scenario plan permanently. Please review thoroughly before confirming to make these changes.
At the bottom of the planning page, select the "Export" button to have a forecast upload template of the scenario plan emailed to you.
Use this template for the selected scenario plan only. Do not remove the scenario plan, channel, or item IDs as they are needed to map out your forecast in Moselle.
Fill in or edit your projections using the template provided. Once you have updated your forecast, save it as a CSV file and upload your new forecast using the "Upload Forecast" button at the bottom of the planning page.
Select the file and click on the "Upload" button to overwrite the current forecast for the plan. Refresh the page and your forecast will appear in the SKU table.
