Click the Planning feature from the Moselle Menu to be redirected to your Scenario Plans. Choose a scenario plan forecast file to work with by clicking on the scenario plan name, and it will direct you to the forecast page.
On the forecast page, select the "Replenishment tab to get started on your production plan.
The replenishment page will give you an overview of all available plans you have made in Moselle. These will give an overview of the plan name, the plan type, and the forecasts that are linked to it. Your updated dates will display when the plan was last refreshed, and your runway date will display when you expect your inventory to last.
The format of your production plan will at least need 3 things:
A Scenario Plan
A Replenishment Start Date
A Runway Date
When you click on the "Create Plan" button, it will direct you to a slideout where you can enter your information on your new production plan.
To begin, name your production plan and connect it to a scenario plan you created on the planning page.
This selection allows you to convert your plan into a monthly view or a weekly view. To view your selected frequency, export your replenishment list after the plan build to view your chosen frequency.
The location drop-down menu will list all warehouses that have been linked to Moselle. This option will let you select the warehouse location you want to replenish for the production plan.
Toggle this option on to change your production plan to an allocation plan, and determine allocation quantities for a given location.
The item type option is what items you want to include in the production plan. There are four options;
Core Items
Bundle Items
Components
Both Core and Bundles
Toggle on this option if you want to view your production plan in core units only.
Toggle on this option to include all products in the buy plan, even if there are 0 recommended buys for a product.
These dates need to be included in your production plan as Moselle will calculate your at-risk items between these dates.
Your "Replenishment Start Date" is the date you plan on sending out your order.
Your "Runway Date" is the date you plan to do your next production run.
Choose your lead time and safety stock from the drop-down menu. Both lead times and safety stock are in 30-day intervals for you to choose from.
Once you've added your parameters and saved your plan, you will be redirected to your newly formed production plan. This page will display your at-risk items, and list off all your SKUs with their suggested quantities.
Under your replenishment plan settings, you can toggle on the allocation plan option that will convert your plan to an allocation plan. Then select a location that you want the plan to allocate to. Once completed, save changes and rebuild your plan to see your newly converted allocation plan.
Your production plan list will also indicate which plans are production or an allocation type.
