Edit Item Details

Moselle also has the ability to update your inventory data such as Bill of Materials, SKU Category, and Metadata. This can optimize how it will read your demand and forecasting planning.

How Can I Edit Item Details?

  • Let’s start with choosing an item you want to edit. There are two ways you can do this:

    • Use the search bar at the top of the Moselle webpage and type in the Name or SKU you want to edit.

    • Choose a warehouse location under Inventory and select the View button beside the item you want to edit

  • Once you select the item, you will be brought to the item product page.

  • Here you can click on the Edit button in the top right corner

  • You can update the Item Identifier, Item Name, Type of Item, Unit Price, and Description of the item. Once you’ve added in those details, click the Save button at the bottom right corner to finalize those details.

  • You also can add whether an SKU is a Core, Bundle, Variant, or Component. You can choose to categorize these items and it will help correctly arrange your items to be viewed properly when planning your forecasting and production

  • On your Item Product Page, click on the Edit button to open up the item slideout

  • Select the Listings tab

  • Type in the SKU or Product Name, and it will show you what listings are available from the channels you have connected

  • After entering your Bill of Materials, click on save to finalize your item details

  • A new Bill of Materials table will now appear on the Product Item Page.

How can I adjust the forecast on a specific SKU?

  • If you have a product launch date in mind that has a start date in recording sales. Select a date and our machine-learning model will pull in sales starting from that date

  • If there is an item that peaks in sales often, you can choose a spot in the Sales Spike scale. Our machine learning model can also help determine sudden changes in demand (For example; markdowns, liquidations, and promotions)

  • If you have items that change during seasons, you can customize its seasonality scale from non-seasonal to very-seasonal and our model can account for these changes.
